As early as in 1927 he presented two etchings at the Second International Exhibition of modern engraving at the Parterre of San Gallo in Florence. One of his works was purchased by the State for the Uffizzi’s famous Collection of Drawings and Engravings. Later he worked as a
scenographer both for
theatre (Accademia dei Fidenti, Teatro Sperimentale dei G.U.F., Teatro delle Arti di Roma) and opera
(Teatro Comunale di Firenze) where he established himself carrying out
his own sketches as well as those of famous painters such as Casorati,
Carena, Sironi and Conti.
