The didactic experience of A. M. Landi (his second artistic life), starts in 1933 when he is assistant professor of Disegno dal Vero (real-life painting) at the Istituto Superiore di Architettura in Florence (later to become the Faculty of Architecture). From 1935 to 1938 he is professor of “Figura disegnata e dipinta” at the Scuola di Nudo of the Academy of Fine Arts. From 1941 to 1949 he is professor of “Ornato Disegnato” at the Liceo Artistico (secondary school specialising in arts subjects) in Florence, and from 1949 to 1957 he teaches Decorazione Pittorica at the Florence's Istituto d’Arte where he is also assistant headmaster. After a brief period at the Academia where he is professor of Scenography he is appointed as headmaster at his beloved Istituto d’Arte (1959), post that he will held until 1973.
